Accessibility Statement
Groyper Quant aims to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, zoom, or reduced-motion settings. This statement describes where we stand and how to tell us when something is in your way.
Conformance target
We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The Service is partially conformant: most of it meets the target, and known gaps are listed below. It has not been audited by a third party.
What is already in place
- Semantic landmarks (
header, nav, main, footer) and a skip-to-content link. - Full keyboard operation: Tab order follows reading order, Esc closes dialogs, focus is trapped in modals and returned to the trigger on close.
- Visible focus rings on every interactive control, independent of mouse hover.
- Answers stream into a polite live region, so screen readers announce them without interrupting.
- Text contrast meets or exceeds 4.5:1 for body copy against the dark background.
- Layout reflows to 320 px width and supports 200% zoom without loss of function.
prefers-reduced-motionis respected: animations and smooth scrolling are disabled.- Touch targets are at least 40 px, and the interface works one-handed on a phone.
- Buttons and icons carry accessible names; decorative images use empty alt text.
- Nothing depends on colour alone — quota warnings also change their text.
Known gaps
- The brand logo is a raster image with baked-in text, so it does not scale as crisply as the rest of the interface.
- Citation cards can be verbose for screen-reader users when an answer has many sources.
- Playback links open third-party sites whose accessibility we do not control.
- Transcripts are machine-generated, so quoted text may contain recognition errors.
- There is no high-contrast or light theme yet.
